Achieving Your Full Potential Through Individualized Coaching

Looking to improve your leadership skills? Develop your team? Develop as a team? In a period of transition—either to a new role, company or career?

Coaching is a powerful technique that allows individuals and teams to consider current performance, observe behaviors, and identify actions to change the level or direction of performance.  Working with a coach can help identify tangible, take measurable actions, drive innovative problem-solving, and build accountability.

Through guided self discovery and practice, individuals and teams can achieve their full potential by identifying their purpose, aligning efforts to build capability and holding oneself accountable for one's actions.

CONTRACT

In the initial meeting, the coach and client discuss the needs of the client, narrowing down goals the client wishes to pursue. If the client agrees that the coach can help meet the individual’s needs, the client and coach create a coaching plan. Client may be asked to take a leadership assessment, supply names to collect 360 degree performance feedback, or provide additional performance data to maximize the benefit of the coaching conversations.

COMMITMENT

Client commits to working on targeted goals to produce specific, measurable outcomes. Client and coach agree on the frequency, duration, and other details related to the coaching engagement.

COACHING

Client defines the agenda of each meeting, with the coach prepared to discuss:

Any of the specific goals stated
in the coaching plan

Progress and actions since the
prior meeting

Resources that can support client development

Upcoming opportunities to work on targeted goal areas.

There may be specific, targeted actions
that the client needs to complete between coaching sessions. Issues not specifically stated in the coaching plan goals may be discussed, per the client’s needs.

CLOSING

At the end of the designated duration of the coaching engagement, the client and coach will review goals and either conclude the coaching engagement or agree to extend the coaching relationship to either continue work on existing goals or contract on new goals.
